Capitol Day

  • Where: The Florida State Capital Building   400 S Monroe St, Tallahassee, FL 32399
  • When: February 20th
    • We will start the day at 8:30 am at the steps of the Historical Capital Building for a group photo. After the photo We will make our way to the 22nd floor of the Capital building for guest speakers
  • How: By registering your chapter on the FAAE webpage http://www.flaged.org/legislative-updates/ by Wednesday February 6th:
    • Registration is $30 per chapter
  • Who: The FFA advisor must be a member of the Florida Association of Agricultural Educators.
    • Chapter may bring up to four FFA members.
  • Why: To give our FFA members the opportunity to meet their legislators, learn more about the legislative process, and advocate for agricultural education.

Things to remember:

LBR ‐ Look for packet of materials for Florida FFA

  • Dress Code:
    • FFA members are required to wear indoor official dress
    • Advisors must be in business attire (suits, ties, etc., no shorts no jeans)
